About the Dog Team
Yukon huskies all raised here at Mahoousc Guide Service. Very friendly and personable. They have six dog teams and usually run five dogs per sled with two people per sled. Descendents from the last RCMP dog team in the Yukon Territory and dog team from movie "Never Cry Wolf".

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Dogsledding Day Trip Meet at 9:00am. Get outfitted with boots, parkas, etc. Go to meet dogs in dog yard. Load into trucks and drive to starting point usually about a one half hour drive. Participate in a lesson about dogsledding. Unload dogs and hook up to sleds, mush to lunch spot usually one and a half hours. Tie out dogs, make campfire, have lunch, photo opportunities. Hook up dogs and mush back to vehicles usually one and a half hours. Load dogs into trucks and drive back to the kennel. Finished around 4:00pm. Beautiful views of mountains with very friendly huskies!

Reservation Policy
Contact Mahoosuc to make a reservation. A $50 deposit per person is required to hold a spot. Full payment one month before the trip starts.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel, your deposit is non-refundable. From 45-14 days money is non-refundable but you may apply the amount to another trip for one year, minus your deposit. Within 14 days money is non-transferable and non-refundable.
Mahoosuc Guide Service only cancels trips for safety reasons (i.e. flooding, bad ice, extreme windchill). They go in all conditions including rain and thaws. If extreme weather conditions prevent you from traveling to Maine for your trip, you may use the full amount less the deposit for another trip for one year from trip starting date.
